Common questions

What is Snap-Back Recording?
AirClip continuously buffers audio playing on your PC in the background. When you trigger Snap-Back, it saves the last 10–60 seconds of already-played audio retroactively — music, streams, calls, anything. No rewind, no replay needed.
Do I need VB-Cable or any audio drivers?
No. AirClip uses Windows' built-in WASAPI loopback to capture system audio directly. No virtual audio driver installation required — including for microphone mixing.
Does it record Zoom, Teams, and Google Meet audio?
Yes. AirClip captures at the Windows system level, so it records whatever plays through your speakers or headphones — from any app, including all major conferencing tools.
Does AirClip upload my recordings anywhere?
No. Everything stays on your PC. Recordings are saved to a local folder you choose. No audio is ever sent to any server.
Is Pro a subscription or a one-time purchase?
One-time purchase of $39.99, all future updates included. No subscription.
What's included in the free version?
Standard manual recording — click to start, click to stop. Pro adds Snap-Back, DVR Scheduler, Automatic Recording, One-Shot, microphone mixing, and MP3 output.
